Welcome Aboard, Kendall!

Like father, like daughter! It seems we have another Dr. DeLuke (albeit a much smaller version) in our office!

(I wonder how long she went to college...)

Did You Know?

You already know about the importance of wearing a mouth guard while playing sports; it helps protect against and may even lessen the severity of a concussion in the event of an upward blow to the chin. It can reduce the risk of jaw dislocation or fracture, lost teeth, cuts and bruises to the mouth or face and stress to the neck. You may already wear a standard mouth guard that you got from your dentist, orthodontist or even a sporting goods store.

But what about custom mouth guards? The following are just a few reasons why a custom-fit mouth guard may be recommended:

  1. It provides more safety! Because it's custom-molded to your mouth, it provides a better fit; thus, better absorbing any shock.
  2. A custom mouth guard allows you to breathe and speak better! Enough said!
  3. A perfectly-fitted mouth guard brings confidence! An athlete that feels protected and safe during a game is more likely to score goals and take home   the trophy!

Did you know that we make custom-fit mouth guards right here in our office?

We also sell regular, non-custom mouth guards here!

Please ask a Team Member how you can get one!

Time To Play In The Snow!

The DeLuke Orthodontics office will be closing for our Winter Vacation the week of February 20th so Dr. DeLuke and the Team can enjoy a week of playing in the snow, drinking cocoa and making snowmen!

There will be other doctors covering for Dr. Mike in the event of an orthodontic emergency.
